The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its New York Chapter. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and execution of local strategy and programs in alignment with the organization's theory of change. This includes overseeing advocacy campaigns, cultivating teacher members for leadership roles, and managing a high-performing team. The role also involves setting and leading the chapter's vision and strategy, as well as being the external representative of the organization's work in New York. The Executive Director will be expected to have a minimum of ten years of experience in education, education policy, campaign organizing, or advocacy, with a strong preference for those with a background in pre-K-12 education and classroom teaching. Political savvy, a proven track record of building coalitions, and experience in fundraising and development are essential.
