The Company is a leading manufacturer of high-performance consumables for mining machinery, serving major operators in both surface and underground mining. They are in search of a Vice President of Sales for North America to spearhead and expand their commercial operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with owning and executing the North American sales strategy to ensure profitable growth. This hands-on, strategic role requires a proven sales leader with a deep understanding of the mining ecosystem, capable of operating credibly at all levels, from the boardroom to the field.
Key responsibilities for the VP of Sales include leading, mentoring, and expanding a regional sales team, developing and maintaining senior-level relationships with key industry players, and identifying new market opportunities and strategic partnerships. The role demands a senior sales leader with a strong background in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial consumables, and a demonstrated ability to scale sales teams and grow market share. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a results-driven approach, comfortable with complex, long-cycle sales, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. Extensive travel across North America is a requirement for this position.
