
Vice President of Business Development- Apartment Renovations

We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead growth for a general contractor specializing in apartment renovation projects across Florida. This senior leadership role is primarily remote, with two days per week travel to active projects in Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Orlando.

Own and execute the business development strategy for
apartment renovation projects
across Florida.
Leverage existing relationships to secure negotiated work and repeat business with multifamily owners and operators.
Identify and pursue new opportunities through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.
Build and maintain relationships with owners, asset managers, brokers, and property management firms.
Lead proposal strategy, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership, estimating, and operations to align pursuits with capacity and margins.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance reporting.
Profile
10+ years of experience in
business development for a general contractor , with a clear focus on
apartment renovations / multifamily repositioning .
Proven track record of closing work and generating revenue within the Florida multifamily market.
Brings a strong network of owner and operator relationships that can translate into immediate opportunities.
Strategic, relationship-driven leader comfortable operating at the executive level.
Willing and able to travel
approximately two days per week
to project sites.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
