Branch Director for Decorworx — Kansas City Base

Kansas City, MO | On-site | Full-time | Salaried

Decorworx is stabilizing a disciplined, profitable, manufacturing hub in Kansas City—and we are looking for a hands‑on Branch Director to lead day‑to‑day operations. This is a high‑trust, high‑accountability role reporting to the Operations Officer in Cedar City, UT. You’ll work with a 6 to 10‑person on‑site team, sell B2B into the KC market, manage the manufacturing operation, and strengthen partnerships across the mid‑west. You’ll partner with Decorworx leadership to manage Kansas City targets—tracking financial results, surfacing risks and opportunities early, and aligning on decisions to maintain a healthy base.

Responsibilities

  • Drive KC performance: support revenue growth and profitability by managing the operational levers that impact the KC P&L
  • Monitor and report financial discipline: track COGS, labor efficiency, and expense control; provide clear reporting to Cedar City leadership
  • Lead manufacturing execution: own production scheduling, labor planning, shipping/receiving flow, product quality, inventory, and on‑time delivery through repeatable systems
  • Enforce process and standards: sustain SOPs, QC checkpoints, and standardized “build recipes” to reduce rework and improve consistency
  • Build and close regional business: conduct client meetings, create pipeline, forecast accurately, and grow accounts through disciplined follow‑up
  • Develop and lead the KC Base team: hire, coach, and hold the team accountable to priorities, performance expectations, safety, and culture
  • Protect and represent Decorworx standards and values through operations and client interactions

You’ll thrive here if you are…

  • Energized by small‑scale manufacturing and take pride in craftsmanship
  • Fluent enough in engineering/manufacturing concepts to standardize products and improve flow
  • Skilled at preserving systems/structure and an agile problem‑solver
  • Comfortable on a shop floor and in front of clients
  • Organized and invested in delivering regular reporting and clear communication
  • An independent leader modeling trust, strong judgement, clear expectations, and consistent follow‑through

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in manufacturing operations, fabrication/signage, or related production environment.
  • People leadership experience (ideally 6–25 team members).
  • Client‑facing responsibility (sales, account management, solution selling, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of scheduling, quality control, and job‑cost/margin drivers
