Sales Account Executive
This job description is for a Sales Account Executive position at WSPA/WYCW, the Nexstar-owned stations in Greenville-Spartanburg. The role involves generating advertising revenue by building and maintaining relationships with clients, both established and new, and leveraging digital and television advertising solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Build and grow revenue by contacting existing clients and pursuing new prospects. Develop and implement strategies to exceed revenue goals, leveraging both traditional and digital advertising. Establish strong, long-lasting relationships with the local business community. Conduct sales calls, prepare and deliver presentations, and explain the benefits of advertising solutions to clients. Collaborate with clients and station personnel to create effective advertising strategies, schedules, and content. Requirements & Skills:
A bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Prior experience in sales, preferably in advertising, is often beneficial. Comfortable using computer software like Microsoft Word and Excel. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
