WSPA-TV in Spartanburg/Greenville, SC is seeking a Sales Assistant (Digital & National) to support both Digital and National Sales teams. This role works within established Sales Department guidelines to maximize revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic, reporting, and accounting perspective. The Sales Assistant is also responsible for performing all clerical and administrative functions required to support sales personnel and ensure accurate campaign execution. Responsibilities include: Enter and manage orders across both National and Digital platforms, including linear and digital campaigns (OTT, Display, Pre-Roll etc.) Assist with campaign setup, traffic coordination, and ensuring copy and materials are received and scheduled accurately. Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, and performance to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. Provide reporting support for Digital Specialists, Account Executives, and Managers, including pulling campaign metrics and preparing client recap reports. Prepares makegoods, forms, and reports as needed. Communicate with internal teams, vendors, National Reps, buyers, and management to resolve campaign, billing, or account issues. Maintain awareness of current traffic policies, procedures, and best practices. Enter and manage Political orders, including uploading required documentation to the FCC file and keeping records current. Monitor inventory and assist with availability tracking. Maintain organized records of campaigns, reports, contracts, and business files. Perform all clerical and administrative functions for the Sales Department. Maintain working knowledge of digital products, platforms, and industry best practices. Perform other duties assigned to support the Sales and Digital teams. Requirements & Skills: High School Diploma required. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Minimum one year of clerical, administrative, or sales support experience; media or advertising experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency with standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, scanners, etc.). Aptitude for learning new software and systems. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. General math skills. Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
