Parts Salesperson
Atlantic Tractor -- John Deere Dealership

Purpose:
This position is responsible for the selling of parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and by placing special orders for our customers. Meet or exceed monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions.
Responsibilities:
* Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs. * Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required. * Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays. * Verifies receipting-in or shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations. * Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly. * Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager. * Assists in maintaining all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order. * Shall be able to multitask while consistently maintaining a high level of attention to detail. * Required to participate in branch and company on call schedules. * Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs. * Be able to work with a team or independently. * Maintain a professional demeanor to ensure that the highest level of customer experience is attained. * On occasion when deemed necessary deliver parts to customers utilizing company vehicle. * Additional duties as assigned. * Expected to participate in occasional monthly branch and company on call schedules
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
* Preferably one year of experience working in a parts department operations. * Experience with electronic parts catalogs preferred. * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Valid Driver's license.
The starting hourly rate is $20 - $24 per hour and will be determined based on experience.
