Inside Sales Specialist
Bridgestone Hosepower, LLC is a leading hydraulic and industrial hose supplier and repair specialist company. This growing company is currently seeking a motivated, energetic and customer oriented Inside Sales Representative for our Houston, TX branch. This individual will be responsible for: Generating revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders Coordinating entire order process from time of order through delivery and shipping Working closely with Bridgestone HosePower field representatives and customers in communicating product availability Working to maintain company profitability by monitoring and managing cost issues Maintaining appropriate freight costs by determining the most efficient carrier routing Minimizing impact of customer service complaints and claims by reacting quickly and efficiently to resolve problem issues Actively soliciting supplemental product business Understanding and interpreting product requirements and providing information to customers Assessing competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing product information and explanations; preparing quotations Filling orders and communicating expected delivery date Checking customers buying history; suggesting related and new items and explaining features Assisting with stocking and inventory Answering phones and inquires Ordering stock as assigned Handling very busy phone calls Data entry of orders into computer Qualifications
Qualifications: Customer service and retail experience Previous counter sales experience in an industrial environment a plus Basic knowledge of industrial supplies a plus Excellent telephone etiquette and problem solving skills required Basic computer skills and ability to learn Company computer systems Effective verbal and written communication skills Must be dependable and prompt Excellent sales skills a plus We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience, as well as overtime pay.
