Business Development Representative (BDR)

NerdsToGo is a trusted IT services and managed service provider helping small and midsize businesses and residential clients with technology support, cybersecurity, and managed IT solutions. We focus on long-term relationships, practical solutions, and making IT simple for our customers. We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help grow our business by connecting with local businesses, understanding their IT challenges, and introducing NerdsToGo as a trusted technology partner. This is a consultative role, not a high-pressure sales job. You will work closely with leadership and technical teams to identify opportunities, set meetings, and help move conversations forward. Key Responsibilities

Prospect and engage small and midsize businesses via phone, email, and local networking Qualify leads and understand basic business IT needs Schedule discovery calls and meetings for managed IT and project-based services Follow up with prospects after estimates, proposals, or events Maintain accurate notes and activity in CRM Represent NerdsToGo professionally in the local business community Collaborate with technical staff to ensure smooth handoffs What We Are Looking For

Strong communication and people skills Comfortable talking to business owners and decision makers Organized, consistent, and follow-up driven Interest in technology, cybersecurity, or business services Prior B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing experience is a plus MSP, SaaS, telecom, copier, payroll, or IT services background is helpful but not required What We Offer
