Front Desk Receptionist / Customer Service Representative

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and tech-comfortable receptionist to be the first point of contact at our NerdsToGo Plano location. You'll greet customers, handle calls, schedule service appointments, and keep the front office running smoothly. Think of yourself as the hub that keeps the Nerds connected to happy clients. Key responsibilities include: Greet walk-in customers with a warm, professional attitude Answer incoming calls, emails, and chats promptly Schedule on-site and in-store service appointments Process payments, invoices, and receipts through QuickBooks and our POS system Maintain accurate customer records and service tickets Support technicians by managing workflow and job tracking Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming Assist with basic administrative and office support tasks Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred) 1+ year of experience in customer service, reception, or office admin Strong communication and multitasking skills Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer operations Experience with QuickBooks or scheduling software is a plus Positive, professional, and dependable attitude Why join NerdsToGo: Fun, tech-focused, and team-oriented environment Consistent weekday schedule (no late nights) Opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding IT services company Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
