POSITION DETAILS
The Grove School of Engineering at The City College of New York seeks applicants for a newly created position of Associate Director of Graduate and Professional Programs. The position will report to the Dean of Engineering. The Associate Director of Graduate and Professional Programs will lead the development, expansion, and continuous improvement of master's and professional certificate offerings at GSOE. The position aims to respond to industry needs, attract working professionals, and enhance the school's graduate enrollment and impact.
• Oversee the design and launch of new interdisciplinary MS programs and stackable credentials. • Partner with faculty and industry leaders to ensure curricular alignment with emerging technologies and workforce demands. • Implement flexible delivery models to support working professionals, including hybrid and evening offerings. • Lead marketing and recruitment strategies for domestic and international graduate audiences. • Monitor graduate student success metrics including enrollment, retention, and job placement. • Build articulation agreements and continuing education pathways with corporations and academic partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced graduate degree in engineering, education administration, or business. • At least 5 years of experience managing graduate-level programs or academic innovation. • Familiarity with workforce development, adult learning, and accreditation processes. • Experience with advancing projects that require coordination with multiple stakeholders.

- Implements and monitors a comprehensive academic program development plan; makes recommendations to improve department policies and procedures

- Serves as resource expert regarding program policies and procedures
- May manage professional and/or clerical staff
- May act on behalf of Director in his/her absence
- Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $98,995 - $121,194. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
