Job Description
Schedule Three 12-hour shifts per week
Monday-Friday:
7:45AM - 8:15 PM Saturday & Sunday:
7:45 AM - 6:15 PM
Must work
3 weekend shifts per month Must work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays per year Location Avon Urgent Care Top Responsibilities Patient check-in and coordination of care Insurance verification Occupational Health support Processing and accepting patient payments Responding to patient inquiries via phone and email Determining the best method for resolving patient issues within organizational guidelines Coordinating issue resolution with other departments Collecting patient demographic and billing information for data entry and scheduling Top Skills for Success Strong multitasking ability Excellent customer service mindset Personable and professional communication Willingness to collaborate and support team members Ability to take initiative Participation in advisory groups Flexibility to be cross-trained across functions Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required ; no prior experience needed Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred Ability to type 30+ words per minute Working knowledge of computers and basic software applications About Us
