Interior Designer

As an Interior Designer, you will lead and guide the interior design process on projects through multiple phases, including programming, schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. You will be tasked with developing client-centered design concepts, focusing specifically on finishes, detailing, millwork, lighting, and other areas that comprise the interior environment. Your role will involve creating excellent graphics and presentation materials using SketchUp, Revit, and/or InDesign to effectively communicate design concepts. You will also present ideas, resolve issues, and communicate project status to clients, interface with consultants and vendors, and source and provide quality material options. Essential Skills: Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. 8-10 years of experience in Interior Design across High-End Residential, K-12/Higher Education, and Workplace sectors. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design. NCIDQ Certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in creating client-centered design concepts. Ability to create excellent graphics and presentation materials. Strong communication skills for interfacing with clients, consultants, and vendors. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
