
Claims Customer Service Representative
The Claims Customer Service Representative manages inbound calls related to existing homeowner claims, requiring navigation across multiple systems to research and resolve issues. Handle escalated calls, update case notes, and serve as a liaison between Proctor, homeowners, and lenders. Stay calm under pressure and resolve issues professionally. Document updates in the claim system accurately. What You Bring: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent customer service experience (escalations, claims, or insurance preferred) Ability to handle difficult callers Proficiency in using a Windows PC and navigating software systems Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute Strong verbal and written communication skills for phone and email interactions Stable internet connection for remote training and work Reliable transportation for potential onsite needs Schedule & Training: Contract to hire. Work setup: Onsite during training then hybrid (2 days onsite; 3 days WFH). Start date: March 2026. Shift for training: 8:30AM - 5:00PM | Monday - Friday. Location: 700 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan, 48098 / 220 South Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114. Available shifts after training: (Monday - Friday) 9:30AM - 6:00PM, 10:00AM - 6:30PM.
