is looking for an **Director, HR Business Partner & Corporate Functions Lead** to join our **Human Resources** team in **Herndon, Virginia.**The Director, HR Business Partner & Corporate Functions Lead

is a strategic role responsible for aligning people and organizational strategy with the business goals of the region’s corporate/enabling functions (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Government Relations, etc.) This role serves as the primary Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to the leaders of these functions and is responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing a team of HRBPs who support these critical groups across the US and Canada. Take ultimate accountability for headcount management.* Anticipate and influence HR related needs by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of business objectives, strategies, challenges.* Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies, practices and procedures to create and maintain a people first culture.* Provide optimal balance of support and advocacy to business and employees.* Identify potential risk areas/future issues and deescalates conflict whenever possible.* Ensure full compliance with relevant legal matters protecting the interests of the business and employees.* Master’s degree preferred.* 15 years of progressive HR experience as an HRBP or leading a support function required.* Experience working in a multi-functional international environment required.* Experience in Aerospace preferred.* PHR, SPHR or SHRM certifications preferred* Ability to travel 25% Domestic and InternationalBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or combination of education and appropriate work experience required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
