General Summary
As a member of Qualcomm’s engineering leadership team, you will collaborate with top-tier PC enterprise customers, OEMs, and third-party application vendors to enable and scale Windows on Snapdragon for success in the commercial PC market. This role provides technical leadership to identify product gaps, design solutions, and ensure global Enterprise IT organizations can seamlessly onboard Windows on Snapdragon PC products.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Qualcomm business teams to define product requirements for enterprise PC solutions.
- Lead engineering development for enterprise customers’ PC requirements, including design and implementation.
- Oversee engineering efforts for pilot programs with commercial partners and analyze key quality metrics.
- Provide technical guidance to enterprise app vendors for porting critical PC software to Windows on Snapdragon or resolving compatibility issues.
- Drive technical strategies to enable global enterprise adoption of Windows on Snapdragon devices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive Windows PC Ecosystem Experience: Proven track record enabling top-tier enterprises across industries (financial, tech, education, etc.) and global regions (NA, EMEA, APAC) with best-in-class PC technologies and platforms.
- IT Software & Platform Security Expertise: Strong knowledge of system architecture, insider threat prevention, data protection, remote access, and IT management.
- Deployment & Maintenance Expertise: Deep experience with traditional and modern IT deployment and servicing tools (SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, WDS, PXE, etc.).
- OEM Enterprise Solutions Knowledge: Familiarity with solutions from major OEMs (Dell Pro, Lenovo, HP Wolf Security).
- Enterprise Process & Software Proficiency: Understanding of IT enterprise workflows, productivity tools, business process management, data analytics, and related enterprise applications.
- Windows OS Development Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Windows OS concepts, including kernel architecture, OS services, memory management, multi-core/multi-threading, and crash debugging.
- Firmware & Driver Development Experience: Extensive experience with UEFI/BIOS features, out-of-band manageability, security features, Windows driver architecture, and application development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 9+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- 4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 20 years in software engineering.
- At least 10 years in a leadership role managing large-scale engineering initiatives.
- Extensive experience leading teams through full software development life cycles.
- Strong leadership and strategic execution capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience in cross-functional environments.

Pay range and Benefits
Pay range: $248,000.00 - $372,000.00. The salary is one component of total compensation, which may include a discretionary annual bonus program and potential RSU grants.
