Beacon Health Management is seeking a driven Director of Business Development to support census growth for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services. This role focuses on community outreach, referral development, and admissions coordination to meet budgeted census goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve facility census and revenue targets
- Execute strategic marketing efforts (approx. 85% external / 15% internal ) within a 100-mile radius
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community agencies
- Conduct admission screenings, including level of care and insurance review
- Coordinate admissions with nursing and administrative teams
- Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement
- Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families
- Identify and report customer service opportunities to the NHA
Qualifications
- Nursing License preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance
- Minimum 1 year Long-Term Care experience
- Ability to work independently and manage a large territory
