Position: Director of Pharmacy (DOP)

Location: Anderson, SC (Located inside of AnMed)

Schedule: Full‑time

Compensation: $148,000 - $172,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Correctly prepare all drugs and chemicals.
  • Ensure compliance with the standards of the Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies.
  • Manage and administer the Adverse 시즌 Drug Reaction Program.
  • Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs related to drug utilization and effectiveness.
  • Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
  • Develop at least one clinically oriented program per year (e.g., zuiden pharmacokinetic dosing service, patient counseling, pain management services, or nutritional support service).
  • Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families.

Minimum Requirements

  • Successful completion of all educational requirements mandatory for state licensure.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of hospital experience within the last five years.
  • BLS if required by State.
  • Maintain a current license in the state of practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharm‑D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency.
  • One (1) year in a managerial role preferred.
  • Prefer Board Certification and/or Residency.
