
Position: Director of Pharmacy (DOP)
Location: Anderson, SC (Located inside of AnMed)
Schedule: Full‑time
Compensation: $148,000 - $172,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Correctly prepare all drugs and chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with the standards of the Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage and administer the Adverse 시즌 Drug Reaction Program.
- Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
- Participate in quality assurance programs related to drug utilization and effectiveness.
- Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
- Develop at least one clinically oriented program per year (e.g., zuiden pharmacokinetic dosing service, patient counseling, pain management services, or nutritional support service).
- Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
- Teach and counsel patients and their families.
Minimum Requirements
- Successful completion of all educational requirements mandatory for state licensure.
- A minimum of three (3) years of hospital experience within the last five years.
- BLS if required by State.
- Maintain a current license in the state of practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharm‑D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency.
- One (1) year in a managerial role preferred.
- Prefer Board Certification and/or Residency.
