rwjbarnabas Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, are seeking a Director (Chief) for the Division of Anatomic Pathology. This leadership role oversees clinical, research, and academic programs, guides faculty and residents, and advances the Division of Anatomic Pathology at a premier academic medical center within New Jersey’s largest integrated health care system.

Position Highlights

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Division of Anatomic Pathology
• Oversee surgical pathology, cytopathology, autopsy pathology, and immunohistochemistry services
• Guide faculty and residents in clinical, educational, and research missions
• Ensure clinical governance, quality assurance, and accreditation compliance
• Provide patient care services while supporting institutional and system-wide missions
• Implement strategic initiatives to grow and enhance the Division’s programs

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree required
• Board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP
• Academic rank and compensation commensurate with qualifications and academic experience
