Role Overview
The Assistant Social & Paid Media Manager supports Häfele America Co.'s digital brand presence by helping plan, create, execute, and analyze social media and paid media initiatives that increase visibility, engagement, and demand generation. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2+ years of experience in marketing communications-agency or brand side-who is eager to grow into a broader digital marketing contributor with hands-on responsibilities across social media, paid campaigns, analytics, and content development.
The position focuses on strengthening Häfele's social channels, attracting and engaging target audiences, and supporting paid media planning and execution across paid social, SEM, and digital display. This role works cross-functionally with product, category management, and marketing communications teams to deliver high-quality content and measurable digital results.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution Manage day-to-day content scheduling, publishing, and community engagement across primary social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) Develop on-brand, channel-appropriate content that increases engagement with existing audiences and attracts new followers Collaborate with the broader marketing team and category managers to align content with Häfele's strategic goals, product roadmap, and marketing priorities Maintain an always-on awareness of emerging social trends, formats, and best practices to keep Häfele's presence modern and relevant Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, professional manner to support community health and brand perception Paid Media & Digital Campaign Support
Assist with planning, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns across paid social, SEM (Google Search), display, retargeting, and other B2B-appropriate digital channels Support agency partners or internal teams with campaign briefs, asset delivery, approvals, and performance checks Help track campaign performance and contribute to reporting dashboards to identify trends, insights, and opportunities Ensure all paid initiatives support broader marketing objectives, including awareness, traffic, lead generation, and ROI Analytics & Optimization
Use social monitoring and analytics tools to evaluate content performance, follower growth, engagement quality, and competitive activity Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for social content and paid media campaigns Present insights and recommendations to the marketing team, with a focus on improving targeting, messaging effectiveness, and content quality Provide input into ongoing optimization of messaging, cadence, formats, and budget allocation Content Creation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Create or support creation of graphics, short-form video, motion content, and written copy for social channels Partner with internal "customers" - including product management, category managers, sales, and creative - to gather information and develop relevant social-ready content Support content development beyond social media when needed, including website updates, email content, or digital assets for campaigns Channel Growth & Innovation
Identify new or emerging platforms and opportunities that align with Häfele's strategic direction Recommend audience-building tactics, influencer partnerships, or content series concepts to expand reach and relevance Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field 2+ years of marketing experience at an agency or in-house marketing team; B2B experience preferred Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, Hootsuite/Sprout/etc.) Exposure to paid media campaigns (paid social, SEM, display, retargeting) and familiarity with campaign analytics Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and format across channels Ability to work cross-functionally, juggle multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment Analytical mindset and comfort using data to inform recommendations Clear communicator with strong organizational skills What Success Looks Like
