COURT RECORDS CLERK
The purpose of this position is to serve as the initial point of contact for citizens conducting business with the Municipal Court. This is accomplished by assisting customers with the payment of fines, court appearances and other court related activities, preparing dockets, receiving and handling cash and assisting with trial preparations. Other duties include processing citations, providing support to the department, and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees.

What We're Looking For • High School Diploma or Equivalency. • One year of clerical or cashier experience dealing with the public and customer service. • Type 45 words per minute corrected. • Must be able to pass a standard background check, as well as a background check through the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS). • Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
