Own revenue and new logos Identify, prioritize, and engage target vertical SaaS and fintech platforms that could embed Asset
Run the full sales cycle: research, outreach, discovery, ROI and value design, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and close
Build multi-threaded relationships across product, BD, finance, and leadership at target platforms
Own forecasting and pipeline health, and communicate it clearly to the founder and broader team
Lead partnerships Identify and cultivate channel, ecosystem, and product partners (for example, embedded finance platforms, banks, and adjacent vertical tools)
Negotiate and manage co-selling and referral agreements in partnership with legal counsel.
Collaborate with partners on joint pitches, events, content, and customer stories
Build the GTM engine Design and iterate our ICP, segmentation, and target account lists
Create repeatable outbound and inbound motions, including email sequences, call scripts, talk tracks, and deal qualification criteria
Choose and set up the core GTM stack (CRM, sales engagement tools, basic reporting) and keep it clean
Capture learnings from every call and deal to sharpen messaging, pricing, packaging, and product roadmap
Be a product-fluent seller Develop a deep understanding of Asset’s product, architecture, and service model
Translate complex product capabilities into clear business outcomes for product leaders, founders, and executives at our partner platforms
Bring back structured feedback from the field that directly influences our roadmap and implementation approach
What you must have
4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, partnerships, or BD, with at least several years owning a quota
Strong track record selling to product-led or exec-level buyers at SaaS or fintech platforms
Experience with at least one of: SMB Vertical SaaS
Fintech / embedded finance
Accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations software
Comfort with complex, multi-stakeholder deals and multi-month sales cycles
Evidence that you can create structure where there is none: setting up CRMs, building simple dashboards, defining stages and processes, not just following them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining nuanced products clearly
High level of curiosity and ability to learn enough of the product and accounting concepts to be credible with sophisticated buyers
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, and team offsites as needed
Nice to have
Experience as an early GTM hire at a seed or Series A startup
Prior work with vertical SaaS companies serving SMBs (for example, home services, restaurants, health and wellness, professional services)
Familiarity with embedded accounting, embedded finance, or payments
A network of founders, product leaders, or BD leaders at vertical SaaS or SMB-focused fintechs
