Tax Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL | Hybrid: Mon & Fri work from home, Tue-Thurs in the office Our client is seeking a Tax Analyst to support its global tax function. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional coming out of a Big 4 firm who is looking to apply their technical tax foundation in a dynamic corporate environment. You will gain hands-on exposure across federal, state, and international tax while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors. Responsibilities Support U.S. federal income tax compliance and provision processes, including preparation and review of workpapers and calculations Assist with state and local tax filings, including income, franchise, and apportionment analysis Support international tax matters, including foreign compliance, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing coordination Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740 Support tax audits and inquiries from federal, state, and foreign tax authorities Partner with finance, accounting, and external advisors to gather data and ensure accurate reporting Monitor tax law changes and assist in assessing impacts to the business Contribute to process improvements and documentation to support a scalable global tax function Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1 to 3 years of tax experience, preferably from a Big 4 public accounting firm Experience across U.S. federal, state, and international tax Experience with a large multi-national company or client Strong understanding of corporate income tax fundamentals Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
