
Position Summary
As an Activities Lead, Groups - Resort, you will be responsible for providing friendly, enthusiastic and exceptional service to private group activities. This role works closely with the CSM to ensure all activities are properly booked and guest satisfaction is maintained. Essential Functions
Lead Activities Coordinators in Kids’ Club Programs and implement environmentally oriented programs, as directed, which are safe and fun for all participants. Will act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed. Partner with CSMs on bookings for private group activities across Big Cedar Lodge properties including updated lists of activities options, pricing & scheduling. Maintains calendar updates with group information. Holds quarterly presentations to maintain up to date information. Oversees and trains associates within the Activities team on various options and classes that are held on the Big Cedar properties, including open to the public and private group activities. Manage the setup, execution and supervision of guests' participation in activities throughout major holidays and events. Enhance guest experience through fun and engaging activities and programs. This should include acting as a positive role model for Activities Coordinators and guests by demonstrating good behavior, sportsmanship and respect of all guests and other associates in both public and private activities. Manage inventory for various activities around the property and ensure that all supplies are ordered and/or on hand and available for private group events and general public events. Ensures that BEOs are sent in accurately and timely at the time of booking and verified 24 hours prior to all private group activities. Maintain documentation for all private group activities including attendance logs, ROIs and updating pricing, etc. All other duties as assigned. Experience/Qualifications
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Degree: Associate’s Degree Certificate(s) or License(s): CPR, First Aid preferred but not required Years of experience: 2-4 years required Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
Previous experience in working or volunteering with various age ranges from school age to senior citizens. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and associates at all levels. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. CPR certification and basic first aid training preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines. Travel Requirements
