
Business Development Executive Healthcare Sales (Home Health / Private Duty Nurs

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive with healthcare sales experience to develop referral relationships and drive census growth for our Home Health and Private Duty Nursing services. This role focuses on building partnerships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), discharge planners, and case managers.
This is an ideal opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in post-acute care, home health, or clinical liaison roles.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, discharge planners, case managers, and community partners. Promote home health and private duty nursing services through in-services, presentations, and educational events. Identify and establish new referral sources while maintaining existing accounts. Coordinate on-site discharge planning as needed. Conduct territory market analysis and develop quarterly and annual sales plans. Execute marketing and sales strategies to meet or exceed census growth goals. Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams to ensure referral satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of Medicare and state home health regulations. Obtain physician orders and support the referral intake process. Maintain organized sales pipelines, target lists, and account documentation. Provide insight into market trends, service line expansion, and pricing opportunities. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a healthcare-related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales or related industry experience. Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to travel within assigned territory and attend meetings. Preferred Experience
Healthcare sales experience in Home Health, Private Duty Nursing, SNF, DME, Orthopedic, or Cardiology. Previous experience as a Clinical Liaison. Knowledge of post-acute care or discharge planning workflows.
