Overview
Export Documentation Administrator
is responsible for the administrative duties related to the export process, ensuring compliance with US and foreign government laws and regulations. Responsibilities
Ensure documentation for all shipments is accurate and compliant with state, federal and international regulations or trade agreements. Oversee the timely completion of paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international distribution, including customs filing and preparation of shipment documentation. Resolve issues with carriers, clients, customs or government officials; assist with any claims-related issues. Investigate all past-due freight bills. Manage and develop broker relationships and/or other supplier/vendor relationships. Perform daily administrative tasks including filing, distribution of mail, data entry and coordinator assistance as needed. Retrieve files and prepare documentation needed for audit. Perform other responsibilities as assigned or directed. Requirements
2 years experience in customer service, transportation and/or metals industry preferred. Excellent communications skills required to manage both internal and external relationships both tactfully and effectively. Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
