
3-5 years of real estate finance experience at an AmLaw 120 law firm
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Active bar membership in New York or Illinois
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage matters with increasing independence
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an associate attorney with 3–5 years of real estate finance experience to join its Real Estate team in either the Chicago or New York office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions with a collaborative and highly regarded practice group within a well-established Am Law 200 firm. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support real estate finance transactions including lending, acquisitions, and development matters Draft and negotiate loan documents and related agreements Work directly with partners and clients on complex real estate finance matters Manage due diligence and transaction coordination Interact with clients, lenders, borrowers, and opposing counsel Handle meaningful substantive legal work with increasing responsibility WHY JOIN THIS FIRM
