Leasing Specialist

Marketing + Leasing

Assists in preparation of advertising and marketing materials

Assists in preparation of regular market surveys

Assists with community events, both within and outside the community

Prepare weekly and monthly reports

Makes recommendations to improve marketing and leasing programs

Tours visitors of the community

Shows apartments to interested guests

Encourages interested guests to apply for residency

Leases apartments to qualified applicants

Assists applicant with application process

Closes sale of apartments

Keeps units leased to meet or exceed budget

Administration

Assists in the input of all data into computer system

Assists in preparation of all necessary packages for lease up move-ins

Create letters/newsletters and/or flyers

Ability to handle any emergencies that may arise on site

Handles incoming phone calls

Communicates all problems and makes recommendations to the Property Manager

Concierge Assistance

Turns on/off the answer service and promptly retrieves all messages

Answers all phone calls/take messages and/or directs to the right department

Greet prospective and existing residents and assist them

Make daily calls to residents on the Call list

Monitors the daily signup sheets and assists in updating them

Assists office with door delivery and/or mailing out flyers and related collateral

Assists in preparing lease packets with all pertinent information

Assists with entering perspective residents/leads and completing work orders in Entrata

In the absence of Management, opens model apartment

Assist residents with various needs - valet parking, key entry, etc.

Delivers flyers, packages, and notices to residents

Keeps work areas clean, orderly, and safe

Completes daily log of property and activity

Responsible for monitoring all activity after hours, if needed

Responsible for responding to residents' requests and emergencies

Notifies property manager/on-call maintenance of all problems and potential issues

Monitors security systems as applicable

Job Overview + Requirements

Job Type: Leasing Specialist; $17.00 per hour, plus incentive program

Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday – Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm and 10:00am – 2:00pm on Saturdays when needed (when scheduled to work on a Saturday, time off will be scheduled during the week to offset hours).

Physical Requirements: walking, standing, light lifting and carrying

Required Education: College Degree or Applicable Work History

Required Experience: 1+ years in apartment leasing/sales in Multi-Family housing; residential property management experience preferred. Experience using Entrata software preferred.

Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level; exceptional communication, sales and negotiation skills; ability to solve problems involving residents and challenging situations.
