
Position Summary
The Fulfillment Lead and Liaison is responsible for managing and assisting the Fulfillment Team in the day-to-day activities of executing Fulfillment Orders and Campaigns. This individual will coordinate with Online, Print and Promo Project Managers to facilitate the smooth rollout of daily Online Fulfillment orders, including ongoing and unique campaigns. You are the “go to” person for in the Fulfillment Department for Fulfillment order status, questions, and support.
Responsibilities and Duties
Fulfillment Operations Oversight and Assistance
Run daily reports to plan and manage daily workload.
Pulling Orders, Shipping Domestic and International.
FedEx Batch Shipments (Distro).
Assuring Quality Control.
Expediting Rush Orders.
Applying Freight Charges to PSI.
Troubleshoot issues as they occur.
Fulfillment Planning and Optimization
Define Wave Picking.
Manage Order Priorities.
Manage Back Orders.
Coordinate Picking Strategies with the Director of Fulfillment.
Develop Kitting Strategies
Pre-Assembly
On Demand Kitting
Custom Kitting/Variable/Personalized
De-Kitting /Reworking
Represent Fulfillment in the Weekly Update Meetings (Online, Promo, Fulfillment).
Work closely with PMs to roll out Online Campaigns.
Assuring workflows are designed and tested.
Reviewing and planning for required capacity.
Manage relationships between PM (Online, Print, Promo) and the Fulfillment department.
Must Have Skills
High level of ERP and WMS experience
Experience in a fulfillment/warehouse/distribution operation
Experience managing a team to meet quality and efficiency metrics.
Experience with international shipping
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient PC skills including Excel, Word, Email
Considered a Strong Plus
Experience with cGMP, SPC, six sigma, lean manufacturing, ISO 14000 Environmental
APICS certification
Experience in Print and Paper converting Industry.
Data Management, Data Mining and Reporting
Education and Experience
Candidates must have strong knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse processes with at least five years of experience in a similar environment
A bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experiences as a front-line manager in a fulfillment, warehouse, or manufacturing operation
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, and talk
Use of hands and fingers to handle or operate tools or controls
Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 45 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 100 pounds
Ability to handle heights of up to 15+ feet
Pay Range: $25.00-$28.00/hour, salary commensurate with experience
