Position and Scope Biote Medical is the world leader in hormone optimization and we are adding to our team! We partner with providers to take a complete approach to healthier aging through patient-specific bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and the only nutraceutical line created specifically to support hormone health.

Responsibilities As an Email Developer, you will be responsible for building and executing best-in-class email marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys. The ideal candidate has deep experience in email development and dynamic audience segmentation, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing marketing campaigns to life. This role also involves deploying SMS and push notifications as part of a coordinated omnichannel strategy.

Email Development & Deployment

Own the end-to-end email development process, including HTML coding, audience creation, quality assurance (QA), and deployment.

Develop responsive, accessible, and optimized email templates, ensuring best practices for mobile responsiveness, dark/light mode, deliverability, and inbox placement.

Conduct thorough pre-launch QA testing, including cross-browser and cross-device validation using tools like Litmus (or similar).

Manage audience segmentation, list loads, dynamic segment creation, and audience validation for precise targeting and exclusions.

Execute bulk email sends, automated trigger-based campaigns, and complex customer journeys within the CRM system.

Optimization & Performance Tracking

Monitor live campaigns post-launch to validate functionality and expected performance.

Implement A/B and multivariate testing to optimize subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times.

Leverage behavioral, transactional, and loyalty data to personalize emails and improve engagement and conversion rates.

Maintain email list hygiene, managing suppression lists, automation validation, and tracking list growth/unsubscribes to optimize deliverability and engagement.

Omnichannel Messaging

Set up and deploy SMS and push notifications, both as ad hoc bulk sends and automated trigger-based communications.

Ensure email, SMS, and push messaging are integrated into a cohesive, omnichannel customer experience.

Analytics & Reporting

Partner with the Marketing Analyst to track and analyze campaign performance, focusing on deliverability, engagement, and revenue impact.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in email development and deployment.

Expertise in HTML/CSS for email development, including responsive design, media queries, and email client limitations.

Experience with CRM platforms/ESPs such as Microsoft Marketing Module, Eloqua, Braze (or similar).

Strong understanding of CRM automation, personalization, and customer lifecycle marketing via email, SMS, and push notifications.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and organizational abilities.
