
Overview
The Hermès Seattle Boutique participates in the Pacific West Region. The Asset Protection Department is responsible for the safety and security of all Hermès employees, premises, and product. This position reports to the Area Asset Protection Manager and aims to mitigate risk of loss, safety and security through consistent training and valued internal and external partnerships. We support our clients (stores, corporate & warehouse) as needed and use cutting edge technology to ensure safety and security. The Opportunity
The Asset Protection Supervisor is responsible for the enforcement and protection of all company interests and assets. Company assets include merchandise, money, technical equipment, supplies, fixtures, store dwellings, our company personnel, and our customers. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor. About the Role AP Associate training, coaching and supervision. Ensuring APA compliance and education (AP Awareness).
Violation and incident reporting.
Conducting audits and maintaining proper records. Complete required audits and inspections and provide accurate documentation of results.
Investigation and follow-up. Supports Area AP Manager in investigations both external and internal.
Conduct routine facility inspections to maintain physical security and protection of assets. Conduct safety inspections and communicate hazards to local management.
Ensure physical security by controlling access of associates and visitors.
Participate in damage meetings with the Area AP Manager and OPS Director.
Maintenance of AP-related equipment (radios, cyberkey, CCTV protex, etc.).
POS procedure noncompliance reporting to the AP Manager, ensuring adherence to Policies and Procedures. Report operational issues that may result in loss (e.g., chargeback inquiries, operational shrink at POS).
Monthly touchbase with AP Manager and APAs to review training and outstanding concerns.
Monthly maintenance of all AP-related documents.
Reporting of any theft to AP Manager and interaction with local law enforcement.
Daily review of Cegid reports and discussion with AP Manager (negatives, voids, returns, quota items).
Supervision of all off-site sales – Public and Employee.
Partnership with floor management in the absence of AP Manager.
Key audits and management.
Review of safe logs.

Daily training and coaching of AP associates to ensure awareness and professional presentation.
Delegation of daily AP work (floor coverage/post assignments, truck, lunches, cash drops, audits).
Review of daily AP work (bag checks, sign-in sheet accuracy, floor count accuracy, audits).
Biweekly security walks of the store; follow-up to weekly AP walks.
Monthly scheduling.
Supervision of AP staff PTO.
AP education for the store team during daily and weekly store meetings in group settings.

AP Supervisors will determine associate compliance with Company Policy and Procedure regarding Asset Protection guidelines (e.g., no more than 3 items shown to a client at a time; keys not left in drawers; proper paperwork for packages leaving premises).
About You 1-2 years Asset Protection / Retail / Managerial experience preferred.
8 hr Pre-Assignment and 16 hr OTJ certificates; Security License (mandatory in NYC only).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and to move/handle merchandise; lifting as needed.
Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
Adaptability; credibility and trust; service orientation; results driven.
Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance.
The range for this position is $28.77 - $31.79. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
