What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute communication plans for complex, strategic projects
Write, edit, distribute, and measure high-quality content including articles, news releases, social media posts, and newsletters
Strengthen and align the organization’s brand and tone through communication efforts
Collaborate with department leaders and cross-functional partners to produce tactical communication materials
Ensure consistent brand voice while delivering engaging content for diverse audiences
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
3–5 years of professional writing and communications experience in healthcare, corporate, agency, or non-profit settings
Demonstrated portfolio of published articles, news releases, and multi-platform content
Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including clinical staff and leadership
Strong preference for healthcare communications experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience working in a healthcare environment or with healthcare communications
Familiarity with AP Style and best practices for content creation across multiple platforms
Ability to measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies
Experience in managing social media and online content
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment
