We are seeking a dedicated
Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
to join our agronomy team. This position will work closely under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent to oversee daily maintenance and long-term conditioning of the golf course. This position plays a key role in delivering championship-level playing conditions and offers an experience unlike any other for the members. The ideal candidate is a motivated turf professional with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence in golf course management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising daily golf course maintenance operations Prep course for daily play, tournaments, other scheduled events Train, supervise, and motivate maintenance staff; assist with employee evaluations and safety programs Assist with irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and repairs. Apply fertilizer, chemicals, and pesticides in accordance with regulations. Maintain turf health and assist in implementing agronomic programs. Maintain equipment and ensure safe work practices. Physical Requirements
Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operation of golf course equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time Qualifications
Degree or certification in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred 2+ years of golf course maintenance experience; supervisory experience preferred Current PA Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) Valid driver2s license Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
