Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Associate supports the sales team by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks that enhance efficiency and strengthen customer satisfaction. In addition to assisting the sales function, this role will collaborate with the Administrative Services department as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator. Responsibilities
Communicates with customers to enter orders, answer questions, and research issues, ensuring timely and effective support. Collaborates closely with outside sales representatives to fulfill customer requests and uphold a smooth, efficient sales process. Reviews accounts receivable reports and follows up with customers to complete collections when necessary. Prepares quotes, contracts, and responses to RFPs/RFIs for prospective customers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Assists in monitoring direct sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, providing insights on trends, margins, and opportunities. Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent Previous sales experience, preferably within a food distribution environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Physical Requirements
