This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will currently reside in the New York area (Queens, Bronx, NYC, Nassau, Westchester County). Job Description

This position is a full-time sales role for Stratas Foods, Foodservice in our direct market, Metro NY — no foodservice broker support. The primary responsibility is to provide dedicated direct Sales development in the field, calling on foodservice operators and delivering sales training with our strategic distributors on our national branded portfolio (NB). The person reports to the Division Manager. Operator fry testing and product cuttings are the main priority selling in our value-added proposition. The person would also assist in some Regional and National Account field support efforts on large fry test projects as needed. Responsibilities

Through the Division Manager’s direction, identify operator targets to call on to sell NB products with a focus on local and regional chain operators. Hands-on responsibility for setting up and monitoring key operator fry tests and product samplings. Develop goals and objectives that support a growth plan for the territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors' street sales reps with the goal of becoming their Stratas National Brands leader in Oils, dressings and shortening products. Daily focus is on operator sales calls and support; participate in sales meetings, attend food shows and other activities required to grow the business. Lead key Operator sales growth through timely lead follow-up and fry test management; provide product solutions, market intelligence, and technical expertise that adds value for the company and customers. Perform multiple tasks surrounding the business, including total fry test process management, salad dressings, sauces, mayo cuttings, demonstrations, and knowledge in our Bakery Shortenings. Learn more effective selling techniques to maximize effectiveness, including product knowledge and skills such as professional presentations, organizational skills, and proficiency in using promotional tools (Salesforce and Blacksmith). Support and regionally direct One Foodservice strategy, funneling commodity opportunities to distributor brands managers, inside sales, to achieve corporate goals. Become proficient in Salesforce.com for opportunity management and customer relationship management. Perform other administrative duties including expense reports, contract management, and timely email response. Follow directives completely as outlined by the Division Manager. Travel up to 70% of the time within the assigned territory, with up to 15% outside the territory if needed. Qualifications

Education:

Associate or bachelor's degree in culinary, Food Marketing, General business-related field or equivalent education and experience. Related Experience:

Minimum three (3) years of Foodservice experience (Distributor Sales, Broker Sales, Manufacturer sales). Ability to handle a diversity of tasks and manage them effectively. Equipment/Software Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Customer relationship management tools. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Driver's License. Bilingual:

English and Spanish preferred. Competencies

Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to educate and train others. A robust foodservice background with extensive knowledge in food production; previous sales experience is highly regarded. Deep understanding of business dynamics, selling propositions, and the ability to balance cost vs. value across the Branded Portfolio. Additional Information

$75,153.00 - $110,000 Annual Bonus Incentive:
