Job Summary The Account Executive at Optimum is responsible for driving revenue by managing client accounts, building relationships and networking within an assigned territory to close deals. They act as the primary point of contact and face of Optimum brand between the company and its clients, ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Identify potential clients through research, networking, and outreach. Qualify leads and schedule meetings or demos. Work assigned leads and turf.
Engage and Educate:
Approach businesses with professionalism and inform them about the benefits and features of our telecom services.
Customized Solutions:
Understand customer needs and craft tailored telecom packages to meet them.
Product Knowledge:
Stay up to date with offerings, pricing plans, and technology developments.
Sales Pitch:
Deliver persuasive sales presentations in the field, address concerns and objections.
Closing Deals:
Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and commitment.
Documentation:
Complete paperwork, contracts, and sales reports accurately for smooth operations.
Relationship Building:
Provide post-sales support and build lasting customer relationships.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with peers to develop strategies and achieve goals.
Targets and Quotas:
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and quotas.
Compliance:
Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and sales practices.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions:
High school diploma or equivalent required; 2–4 years of college preferred
2–3 years of field-sales to Small/Medium Businesses
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk; able to work full time
Preferred Qualifications
Sales-centric mindset with a track record of achieving targets and building trust
Extensive product knowledge of mobile and fixed-line offerings
Digital proficiency with CRM, POS, and related software
