Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Rochester, NY, and involves supporting the sales and marketing efforts of WROC-TV Channel 8. As a Sales and Marketing Specialist, you will engage with clients to develop tailored marketing strategies, provide excellent customer service, and maintain relationships with local businesses. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, identifying new sales opportunities, coordinating marketing campaigns, collaborating with internal teams, and delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders. Consistent communication and training will also be integral aspects of the role.

Qualifications

Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

Proven experience in Sales and Sales Management, including meeting and exceeding sales goals

Experience in providing Training and support to clients and teams

Proficiency in tools and technologies related to digital media, marketing strategies, and data analytics

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused, fast-paced, on-site environment

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Prior experience in media, broadcast, or marketing is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
