
Entry-Level Production Purchasing Specialist

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Production Purchasing Specialist, where you will play an essential role in ensuring our operations run smoothly through effective material procurement. Your main focus will be managing purchase orders, maintaining order accuracy, and supporting our inventory goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecast material and service demands to ensure timely purchase order placements.
Serve as the primary contact for vendors regarding order confirmations.
Regularly update and maintain order promise dates to ensure reliability.
Assist in resolving any pricing discrepancies with our suppliers.
Provide on-the-ground support to our production teams as necessary.
Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and surpluses.
Proactively address any invoicing and shipping issues that arise.
Ensure all purchasing actions comply with relevant laws and ethical standards.
Identify opportunities for cost savings while upholding quality and service standards.
Engage in lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at waste reduction and cost efficiency.
Qualifications: Strong organizational skills coupled with a keen attention to detail.
Basic analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
Capacity to multitask and manage various responsibilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to confidentiality and information security.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in purchasing or a related role is a plus, but not required as training will be provided.
Working Conditions: Office and factory environment.
Safety glasses are required while on the factory floor.
Occasional overtime may be needed.

The salary range for this position is 56,900.00 - 105,700.00.
