POSITION OVERVIEW The Production Coordinator will play a key role in collaboration with the manufacturing team to ensure the seamless execution of production planning, capacity allocation, and scheduling based on customer needs while balancing factory capabilities. The ideal candidate should possess a meticulous eye for detail, a proactive attitude, strategic thinking, and outstanding skills in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and manage the work order processes and corresponding reports.

Anticipate shipment delays due to material shortages and communicate impacts to the factory floor.

Process engineering change notices related to work orders promptly.

Escalate critical shortages to purchasing or sourcing teams as needed.

Provide timely delivery dates for overdue customer orders.

Initiate subcontract purchase orders as required.

Analyze root causes for missed on-time delivery metrics and implement corrective actions.

Review daily orders to ensure appropriate lead times are set.

Process sales requests regarding new order deliveries for custom parts, change order notices, and orders released from other holds.

Calculate, communicate, and enforce lead times for all product lines.

Maintain up-to-date lead times on the company website for assigned product lines.

Lead and facilitate cross-functional Production, Sales, and Inventory (PSI) processes for assigned value stream(s).

Develop, monitor, and analyze output forecasting and backlog analysis to align with sales order forecasts and manufacturing capabilities.

May take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; internships and co-op experiences will be considered.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Macros, Pivot Tables, etc.) is required.

Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly JDE, is preferred.

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.

Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires frequent use of hands and arms, which may involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, and using hands for typing and handling materials. Occasional lifting of items up to 10 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus. Employees may encounter mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, dust, and chemicals, and are expected to wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes when necessary. Travel may be required. The salary range for this position is $58,500 - $108,500.
