Manager I, B2B Sales Description

The Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for driving the effectiveness, readiness, and performance of B2B sales and sales development teams through structured training, content creation, coaching, and strategic enablement programs. This role serves as a people leader and subject-matter expert, partnering closely with internal sales leaders and external clients to ensure sales teams have the tools, messaging, and skills needed to exceed performance targets.

The ideal candidate is not new to sales enablement or sales development, brings 2–3 years of experience leading training or enablement initiatives, and has demonstrated success managing people, developing content, and working directly with clients in a

hybrid

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales enablement programs for B2B sales and SDR teams

Manage onboarding, ramp, and ongoing training to drive consistent sales performance

Translate business goals and client needs into scalable, practical enablement solutions

Create and maintain enablement assets including playbooks, scripts, talk tracks, decks, and job aids

Coach and develop enablement staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and compliance

Build strong relationships with clients, aligning enablement strategy with evolving needs and performance goals

Measure and optimize enablement effectiveness using performance data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Qualifications

Your qualifications

2–3 years of experience in training, sales enablement, or sales development leadership; Proven experience leading people or cross-functional enablement initiatives

Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, sales development, and enablement methodologies

Experience creating sales training and enablement content (presentations, playbooks, scripts, job aids)

Experience interacting directly with clients and managing professional relationships

Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting B2B outbound or consultative sales teams

Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and enablement platforms

Background in performance coaching, adult learning principles, or instructional design

Experience working in a client-facing or outsourced sales environment
