Dutch Hollow Country Club in Auburn, NY is seeking a seasonal Assistant Professional (April-October) for the 2026 Golf Season.
Dutch Hollow members and customers include golfers from Auburn, Camillus, Marcellus, Manlius, Moravia, Skaneateles, and Syracuse. An expanded members' tournament schedule has been well received featuring Captain and Crew, Best Ball, and Scotch formats.
Our weekly Couples Friday night get together offers an opportunity for couples to meet and enjoy an evening of fine Golf and fine dining. Dutch Hollow also has a full service bar, and restaurant facilities. We can host parties as well as serve Golfers and outings.
Designed by Wilfred S. Hall, whose credits include Oswego, Thendara, and Sodus, the Golf course measures 6,500 yards from the blue tees and plays to a par 71, with a slope rating of 120.
With an irrigation system covering each green, tee, and fairway, the course is maintained at a very high standard of quality and provides an enjoyable test for every level of Golfing skill.
Experience Required
PGA Member or Associate in good standing.
Previous Golf Shop experience is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, tournament software, and basic computer skills preferable
Great position for someone looking to be mentored in every aspect of a facility from golf to F&B
Essential Responsibilities
Connect with members by participating in golf events, offering personalized interactions, and actively promoting golf programs
Help maintain a clean and organized environment across all outdoor areas, including staging zones, practice ranges, and golf cart storage
Play a key role in the success of golf activities by coordinating, promoting, and managing tournaments and special golf events
Assist with the management of the handicap program, pro shop operations, and practice facilities to ensure smooth and efficient service for all golfers
Must be available to work evenings and weekends
Overtime will be available (paid time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours). Schedule will be up to a total of 45 hours per week
Teach lessons and clinics if qualified through PGA
