The 2013 host site for the USGA Women's Open Championship Sebonack is consistently ranked among Golf Digest Top 100. Managing bentgrass greens complementing fine fescue fairways this wind swept Peconic Bay site offers a unique opportunity to experience sea-side style management. This position will allow the individual to be closely involved with the intensely managed playing surfaces on a daily basis. Sebonack Golf Club is committed to providing the finest playing conditions while improving on the facility annually. A capital improvement list and schedule will be discussed during the interview process. While working along Superintendent and fellow Assistants to carry out the daily goals. A professional appearance and demeanor is mandatory An ability to assist with planning, training, and directing of maintenance personnel Anunderstanding of simple irrigation principals Restoration projects Ability to secure a NYSDEC Commercial Pesticide Applicators License A clear understanding of the commitment needed to manage a Top 100 facility
