SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and leadership of the Internal Sales Support team to ensure exceptional service delivery, sales performance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and revenue growth in conjunction with Account Executive and Inside Sales Manager guidance. Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet sales targets and KPIs. Maintain regular communication with clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings to build long-term relationships. Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, Sales Support, Planning and Operations teams to support account needs. Analyze account performance, generate reports, and present insights to internal stakeholders. Clearly communicate revisions and initial designs with Planning Department. Prepare proposals, presentations, and gather marketing materials for Account Executives. Handle escalated customer issues professionally and effectively. Keep CRM and internal systems up to date with account activity and sales progress. Participate in forecasting and pipeline management activities. Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, but not required Proven experience in sales, account management, or a similar role Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and organizational capabilities Results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales and customer service Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical Demands
