
Overview
Odin Fashion is seeking a hands-on
Merchandising & E-commerce Manager
to own our accessories/jewelry business end-to-end. This is a
solo, manager-level role
responsible for
buying, assortment planning, factory/vendor negotiation , and
managing product data across our e-commerce channels .
Our product assortment includes
fashion jewelry and hair accessories
with high SKU and variant complexity. This role is ideal for someone who is both commercially minded and highly detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities Merchandising & Buying:
Plan and manage seasonal and ongoing assortments for our product lines.
Develop SKU strategies across styles, colors, and assortments.
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and terms with factories and vendors.
Manage costing, margins, and profitability at the SKU and category level.
Place purchase orders and oversee production timelines.
Planning & Inventory Management:
Forecast demand and plan inventory for fast-moving accessory SKUs.
Monitor sell-through, stock levels, and replenishment needs.
Lead planning meetings with sales to review customer feedback and market performance.
Analyze trend forecast reports to inform future assortments.
Align inventory with promotions, launches, and sales cycles.
E-commerce Product Management:
Own product data across e-commerce platforms (Shopify and marketplaces).
Manage accurate setup of SKUs, variants, pricing, and attributes.
Maintain product titles, descriptions, images, collections, and categorization.
Manage product launches, updates, and discontinuations.
Ensure clean product data to support reporting and integrations.
Performance & Optimization:
Analyze sales and product performance.
Optimize assortment, pricing, and product presentation.
Partner with marketing to support promotions and merchandising strategies.
Ownership & Process:
Serve as the single owner of merchandising and product data.
Improve workflows for buying, SKU setup, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications Required:
4+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or e-commerce merchandising.
Experience with fashion accessories, hair accessories, or similar categories.
Proven factory or vendor negotiation experience.
Strong understanding of margins, costing, and inventory planning.
Proficient in
Excel and Google Sheets .
Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
Highly organized and comfortable working independently.
Preferred:
Experience managing large SKU counts and variant-heavy assortments.
Familiarity with marketplaces such as Amazon, Faire, or FashionGo.
Experience working with overseas factories.
Chinese (Mandarin) or Spanish speaking.
