Overview For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range applies to candidates located within the United States. Individual pay within the range is determined by performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Role and Responsibilities Schneider’s Field Service Representatives play an impactful role within the organization, collaborating with customers, team members, and third-party partners to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on both Company and third‑party manufactured equipment in a variety of dynamic environments. They are problem solvers, customer focused, and passionate about the work they do.

This may be the next step in your career journey if you have:

An Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.

The ability to read blueprints/schematics

Thorough understanding of principles of AC and DC power, and various AC/DC supply circuit components

2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS systems, power distribution and switchgear, ATS, PDU, electrical, electro-mechanical or electronics related equipment

2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience

Adherence to safety practices and company safety procedures/policies, including lock out tag out and timely safety trainings

Ability to identify hazards and report safety matters, incidents, near misses

NFPA-70E or OSHA experience is preferred

Safe driving and vehicle operations skills

Skilled at utilizing test and diagnostic equipment

Experience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and operation manuals

Ability to write service reports and procedures, present information, and respond to customer questions

Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in various environments

English proficiency to communicate with customers and team members

Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office and company digital tools

Typical Day and Travel

Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment

Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams

Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets

Collaborate with Manager or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues

Continuous learning and training on various products in the field and classroom

Travel throughout the region for local customer support or countrywide travel, including overnight travel

Assist senior technicians and support Project Management on larger system start-ups

Work with larger teams of FSRs and Project Managers on higher complexity projects

Act on behalf of the District Service Manager to resolve operational issues as required

Training and Onboarding Within your first 180 days, you’ll experience an 8‑week in-person training program in Dallas, TX, with all expenses paid. After training, you’ll continue with online training and be paired with a local mentor for on‑the‑job onboarding.
