About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive for our Lexology Pro team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business and cultivating strong prospect relationships within your assigned territory. As a Business Development Executive, you\'ll execute full sales cycles, from lead generation to closing deals, while exceeding individual sales goals. Why LBR?

Key Responsibilities
Prospect and build strong relationships with potential clients to drive new business and expand our customer base. Research and understand prospective organizations’ needs, structures, and decision-making processes to deliver targeted outreach. Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including negotiation and coordination with global clients and their procurement teams. Prepare and deliver proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations—both virtually and in person. Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity logs, pipeline updates, and forecasting; provide timely reports to management. Develop a solid understanding of the legal intelligence market and our product positioning. Collaborate with Client Services and Account Management to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients. Partner with Marketing and Content teams to share market insights and client feedback that inform product development. Represent the company at client meetings, events, and conferences within your territory as needed. Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets. Willing and able to work out of our NYC office 3 days a week (right next to Grand Central station). Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1+ years of B2B new business sales experience, ideally following a structured sales methodology. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; confident presenting to diverse audiences. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset with a team-oriented approach and willingness to share best practices. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is a plus. Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn about products, industry trends, and client needs. Benefits
