$130,000–$150,000 (commensurate with experience) Who We Are Two Blind Brothers is an apparel company and 501(c)(3) charity founded by two blind brothers, Bradford and Bryan Manning. Both diagnosed with an eye disease that causes blindness over time, they built Two Blind Brothers as a mission-first brand, pairing thoughtfully designed apparel with a commitment to advancing cures for blindness and supporting the blind and visually impaired community. Over the last 10 years, our work has extended beyond apparel through partnerships and support for organizations across the blindness and low vision ecosystem. We’ve proudly donated nearly
$2 million
to the
Foundation Fighting Blindness
to help fund research toward cures for different types of blindness, and we have also collaborated with and supported organizations including Dogs Inc, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Lighthouse for the Blind, Bosma Enterprises, IFB Solutions, Visions, and several other organizations serving the blind and visually impaired community. As we grow as a nonprofit, we are expanding our impact with a clear focus: building awareness, educating the public, and creating meaningful connections around blindness and low vision. Through hands-on experiences, accessible design, and community programs, we help people better understand blindness, engage with the lived reality of low vision, and become stronger allies to the blind community. Our apparel and Shop Blind campaign remain an important platform for our mission, and our nonprofit initiatives are the next chapter—designed to deepen understanding, expand access, and strengthen community. Our nonprofit initiatives are in an active growth phase, and this is not a fully established function yet. The right candidate will be excited to help build the grants and development engine from the ground up—creating structure where needed, implementing practical systems, and bringing a builder mindset to shaping how we pursue and manage institutional funding. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on deadlines and process, can translate a mission into compelling, fundable proposals, and is energized by building a scalable fundraising function within a small, fast-moving organization. Responsibilities

Proposal Development & Submission Write and submit high-quality LOIs, proposals, and applications, ensuring consistency with our mission, voice, and program strategy. Collaborate with leadership and internal team to gather program details, budgets, evaluation plans, and impact metrics. Develop and manage reusable content (standard language, program descriptions, organizational background, budgets, and attachments) to streamline submissions. Reporting, Compliance & Stewardship Lead grant reporting (interim and final), coordinating outcomes, narrative reporting, and financial inputs as needed. Ensure compliance with funder requirements and maintain documentation for audit readiness. Support funder stewardship through timely updates, impact stories, and relationship touchpoints to increase renewal likelihood. Track performance across submissions and renewals; recommend improvements to increase win rate and retention. Partner with leadership to shape fundraising priorities and refine our case for support and messaging. Improve and maintain development systems (tracking, templates, document library, reporting dashboards) to keep work scalable and organized. Support donor and partner communications as needed, including acknowledgements and impact updates. Identify and operationalize additional fundraising opportunities aligned with organizational capacity and strategy. Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing institutional grants (foundation, corporate, and/or public), with demonstrated success taking proposals from prospecting through submission, reporting, and renewal. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills; strong attention to detail and voice consistency. Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple concurrent grant deadlines. Experience preparing interim and final grant reports, coordinating narrative and financial inputs, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements. Comfortable working with budgets and basic financial narratives (in partnership with leadership/finance support). Self-starter mentality with sound judgment, discretion, and follow-through. Experience in disability advocacy, accessibility, education, public health, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
