Overview
Role 1:
Senior UI/UX Designer
(Portfolio Link Mandatory)
Duration : 6+ Months of Contract with Possible extension
Location:
Washington, DC
Responsibilities
At least 10 years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar field, or equivalent work experience
Usability Analyst certification desirable
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of the trade-offs between optimum user experience and technical, information security, and business constraints, and ability to propose appropriate compromises
Experience in user experience design for platforms or during platform implementation is an advantage.
Envisioning the user experience for multiple enterprise applications with complex business needs
Experience with Figma is important
Connecting dots and bringing a cohesive experience across deliverables produced in different project tracks
Managing multiple projects from a UX perspective, being responsible for adherence to standards, for the timely and quality delivery of artifacts
Basic experience with other Prototyping tools, HTML/CSS & Photoshop is a plus
Subject matter expertise:
In-depth knowledge of usability engineering and information architecture
In-depth knowledge of interaction design
High level of visual design expertise
Broad level of understanding of information systems and application development methodologies
Systems, application development methodologies, emerging tech
