is seeking a Payer Relations Coordinator to manage relationships with insurance payers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for skilled nursing services. This role involves verifying patient insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, and resolving issues related to insurance coverage. The coordinator will work with the admissions, billing, and clinical teams to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and optimize revenue cycle outcomes.
What Will You Do in This Role? As a Payer Relations Coordinator, you are responsible for managing relationships with insurance payers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for skilled nursing services. This role involves verifying patient insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, and resolving any issues related to insurance coverage. The coordinator will work closely with the admissions, billing, and clinical teams to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and optimize revenue cycle outcomes.
Qualifications
A fire and passion for working with seniors
Eligibility & Authorization Experience
A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
High school diploma, or equivalent, required
Must have prior experience working with insurance benefits
Minimum of three years of prior related experience required
Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player
Prior experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
