Overview
The CFO at one of our clients is hiring an
Associate Director / Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to work on a hybrid basis
(3 days on site, 2 days remote), reporting to the Director of Finance (who reports to the CFO). The client is based in western Suffolk County, Long Island, is pre-IPO, mid-sized, and growing fast organically and via acquisitions.
Base salary ~$150k to $190k / $200k, plus bonus, plus the potential for post-IPO equity.
Candidates
MUST BE an active CPA
to be considered.
Responsibilities
50% leading internal financial & operational reporting (some of which includes ‘big data’), quarterly bank reporting, prepare, analyze and review KPIs, dashboards, etc.
30% analysis, assisting with budgets, process improvements, etc.
20% accounting (mostly technical research & new guidance white papers), assisting with external audits
Qualifications
B.S. in Accounting
MUST BE
an active CPA
5+ years of relevant, ‘hands on’ experience, preferably from a mix of experience in public accounting and private industry, but all private industry experience is ok.
It’s a plus, but NOT REQUIRED, if you have 'hands on' experience preparing 10K and 10Q SEC filings, as the role may evolve into also performing this work, or managing others who perform this work, once the company is publicly-listed.
